Women’s Day in India
A little while ago we were raging over the mass molestation in Bengaluru, and before that there were some more. Every time there’s a news piece that informs us of acts of violence, it boils our blood. But then what? A country that took pride in treating women as Gods; worshiping them, revering goddesses, mothers and sisters. But did we learn to treat them as people? It’s Women’s Day again, and we’re one of the other million voices in India trying to address the issue. We hope for a day when we don’t need to.
Consent isn’t that hard a concept to grasp:
It has nothing to do with what she wears
Pearls of wisdom from our politicians:
It really is this stupid
Is all the News helping?
Gender equality might not be a thing yet, but at least we don’t discriminate based on the time of the day
It isn’t too hard to understand, is it?
Being a Feminist is about equality, nothing more, nothing less.
Education could help. what do you think?
How we imagine some of the politician’s dictionaries to look like:
#AllWomen #NotAllMen #WomensDay
